These two institutions functioned under these trade names for respectively thirty (30) and eleven (11) years in overlapping markets that finally mingled into one.

It thus became natural for the Group to unite them in order to optimize on the allocation of resources on the one hand, and improve on customer expectations on the other hand.
 
This explains the decision taken to merge banque atlantique Côte d’Ivoire and COBACI.

The merger definitely settled the confusion existing in the minds of customers regarding the different banking trade names under which the group exercised its activities in Côte d’Ivoire.
